Funniest thing I've read all day!
“Tiger is the best and most advanced personal computer operating system on the market,” writes Walt Mossberg for the Wall Street Journal. “Its key feature, called Spotlight, is the first universal, integrated search system ever offered as part of a mainstream consumer PC operating system.” He adds that “Spotlight is only one of the impressive new features in Tiger, which will be free on all new Macs and will cost $129 for existing users.” [Apr 28, 2005]
Just read that last line again. "free on all new Macs and will cost $129 for existing users." Last time I checked you had to pay for Macs new or otherwise. This frivolous article neglects to make mention that users buy Mac hardware in most cases (Linux users excluded) for the Operating System OSX - it's not free!

You make some good points pda guy... yet I was only pointing out that Tiger is not free in any way shape or form, which is not what the article I referenced implies. Note: I am a fan of the Mac experience. Yet I’m just a sucker for the Windows platform.
